As Manager Accounting I am responsible for the accounting and preparation of annual reports of clients.

I started my career at PwC Netherlands, where I worked in the external auditing practice as well as in the international advice practice (IFRS related advice). In the auditing I was first mainly working for clients in the cultural and healthcare sector, and Dutch medium-sized companies (privately owned and subsidiaries of foreign listed companies). Later I changed to large listed entities (mainly in the secondment field) and also large Dutch institutions in the field of education and healthcare. Besides my work in auditing, I have also been involved in several assignments providing advice specifically relating to implementation of IFRS at newly acquired foreign subsidies of Dutch listed entities.

After my time in auditing with PWC, I have worked in several controller functions, and after that I worked as a senior accounting officer at a large trust company. In that capacity I worked for a wide range of internationally operating clients and assisted them with their Dutch bookkeeping, consolidation, dealing with external audits, preparing annual reports and providing advice on specific accounting topics. I also assisted with the preparation of VAT returns, the review of CIT returns and managed the compliance in this field.

In 1999 I received by Bachelor-degree for financial auditing at HES Amsterdam. During my career, I have followed several courses, mainly regarding auditing, trust officer and communication.
